flowdrift is easy to use

FloDRIFT tools are run in existing industry standard Float Subs or Bit Subs

FloDRIFT replaces or runs in tandem with the rigs existing Float Valve

The patented design allows FloDRIFT to be the smallest tool in the industry weighing only 30 lbs and 40Ē long

FloDRIFT tools are easily transported to and from the rig

Drillers can easily run FloDRIFT and receive surveys at each connection

FloDRIFT tools automatically produce a survey at each connection within 45 seconds from the time the pumps are turned on

flowdrift has the fastest surveys in the industry

FloDRIFTsends the borehole Inclination measurement as soon as the pumps stabilize. The surface decoder decodes FloDRIFT inclinations in less than 45 seconds from pumps on

The survey inclination is conveyed via the measured time between two FloDRIFT controlled pressure drops.

flowdrift Surface Decoding

The FloDRIFT surface system decodes the PRES telemetry controlled pressure drops into an accurate Inclination.

FloDRIFT surveys are decoded and displaced during the normal process of bringing the pumps up after each connection. Surveys are decoded as quickly as 45 seconds after pumps on.

Unlike other systems, that need interpretation of waveforms or counting pressure pulses, FloDRIFT displays a clear accurate Inclination during each connection event. The driller does not need any additional involvement or extra time to obtain a FloDRIFT survey during the connection process.

flowdrift High LCM Tolerance

The FloDRIFT tool uses a ruggedized Float Valve or ďFloValveĒ as the telemetry transmitter.
The FloValve valve is fully open during drilling and easily allows the most challenging of lost circulation muds to pass through the tool without problem.

flowdrift Accurate Inclination Sensor

The Inclination Sensor is the same patented sensor technology originally used in the WellTronics E-Drift wireline tool. This tilt sensing technology is optimized to be the most accurate at near vertical inclination, perfect for vertical
drilling surveys.

FloDRIFT tools have interchangeable FloValves that are easily configured at the rig.

FloDRIFT FloValves are ruggedized 4R, 5R and 6R Float Valves that are run in standard float subs or bit subs with standard Float Valve bore backs.

The videos demonstrate the ease with which the FloValves can be attached to the tool and run in any specified Float Sub.

flowdrift Standard Float Subs and Bit Subs

Several Float Sub options are available to run FloDRIFT tools. The collar size determines the correct FloValve for the job. Customers are invited to provide the Float Sub and reduce the daily rental rate. Manufacturing drawings can be downloaded from this page.
